Beyond Research
Beyond Research supports researchers in the transition to life after a doctorate. This inspirational program offers insights into how to translate academic experience into a career, encourages entrepreneurial thinking, and discusses how a research background might positively impact the world.
The program encourages doctoral researchers to reflect on their research journey so far, know how to evidence their skills and recognise opportunities. From practical advice on job-hunting and networking to thinking more strategically about how to pitch yourself in front of potential employers, this program will help researchers map out what’s next in their professional journey, whether they plan to stay in academia, move into industry, or explore entrepreneurial opportunities.
