Respect Matters: Addressing Consent and Gender-Based Violence
is a unified training programme that will support the higher education sector in responding to the Australian National Higher Education Code on Gender-Based Violence by providing students and staff with evidence-based training on gender-based violence, consent, bystander intervention and creating a culture of safety and support.

    Trent Larkman is the principal educator at Everyday Actions, a training and consultancy support dedicated to cultivating safe and inclusive organisations. With over a decade of experience as an educator and consultant, he focuses on preventing gendered violence and discrimination, engaging men in challenging inequality, and promoting ethical, reflective change. 

    • Camille Schloeffel is an activist for the prevention of sexual violence and promotion of sexual wellbeing. She is the Founder of The STOP Campaign, a grassroots organisation tackling sexual violence in tertiary communities through education, empowerment, and advocacy.
    • Kelsey Paske is a leader in gender-based violence prevention, having implemented best-practice initiatives at La Trobe, UCL, Advance HE and Culture Shift UK. She is a consultant in Australia and the UK on preventing bullying, harassment, and gendered violence in the education, public, and private sectors.
