To find out more about how such a critical concept is understood, discussed, and communicated across departments, institutions, and regions, we asked professors, postgraduate researchers, and lecturers at institutions that contributed to the second editions of our Research Integrity programme to reflect on what research integrity meant to them. The second edition of our celebrated Research Integrity training programme, authored by Professor Nicholas Steneck (University of Michigan), is available as two region-specific versions, integrating the most up-to-date and relevant legislation, guidelines, and examples: an Australian adaptation by Dr Susan O’Brien (University of Queensland), integrating the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, and a UK adaptation by Dr Simon Kolstoe (University of Portsmouth) reflecting the Concordat to Support Research Integrity.

Both versions of the programme support institutions in delivering a consistent, institution-wide approach to integrity training, with content appropriate for researchers working at all levels, across five key disciplines, and an approach designed to be accessible to postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career researchers.
