At SAGE Campus, we have poured years of experience in course design into our current suite of courses. The pedagogical mix of content types included in each course is carefully devised based on well-known learning design principles.

SAGE Campus courses are self-paced, instructor-led, and interactive. Online courses can come in all sorts of different formats and incorporate different pedagogical approaches into their design, and so on this page, you’ll find more detail on our pedagogical approach and course learning style, with examples from our courses. At Campus, we have poured years of experience of course design into our current suite of courses, and all of our courses are meticulously crafted to ensure the learner is at the forefront and remains engaged throughout. 

What do we do to ensure we offer a great learning experience? 

The pedagogical mix of content types included in each course is carefully devised based on well-known learning design principles. Our courses use an engaging mix of activity types including videos, text, flowcharts, quizzes, checklists, spreadsheets, narrative slides, and much more. 

For instance, our activities give students a chance to see how strategies and skills can be applied in real-life situations and they all come with feedback for learners to understand their progress. Our more technical courses include extensive demo-casts so that learners can learn to code alongside their instructor.
